Slow-Cooked Beef Short Ribs
4 lbs short ribs *
4 celery stalks (chopped up) *
4 carrots (chopped up) *
½ onion (chopped up) *
1 cup flour (heavily season with salt and pepper)
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil *
28oz can Italian Tomatoes *
1 cup beef broth *
¼ cup white wine *

Pre-heat oven to 350º. Roll the short ribs in the flour/salt/pepper mixture. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet and brown the short ribs for approximately 2-3 minutes per side.

Place the short ribs in a baking dish and then pour the rest of the ingredients over them. Cover and cook at 350º for 4 hours. Let sit for a half-hour and serve like a stew.

Serves 4.
